COVID-19:  Update and Visitor Restrictions

If You Suspect You Have COVID-19:

Per direction from the health department, if you are ill and have a fever, cough or other respiratory symptoms; and have traveled within the past 14 days; or have had known exposure to someone diagnosed with COVID-19; then please follow the recommendations below.

1.DO NOT go to the emergency room unless it is an emergency.

2.Call your physician's office with symptoms. They will recommend the appropriate next steps for your situation.

3.If you choose to visit our Physician’s Clinic, please CALL AHEAD to alert them of your COVID-19
            concerns.  For the safety of staff and other patients, they may direct you to wait in your car upon
            arrival for entry  instructions.

4.For general questions about COVID-19, please call the Oklahoma State Department of Health's
            24/7 call  center at 1-877-215-8336. This call center has the capability to connect callers to
            Spanish-speaking  interpreters. 

VISITOR RESTRICTIONS:

Memorial Hospital is committed to the health and well-being of our community and due to the risk of the Coronavirus–COVID-19, Memorial Hospital is limiting visitors in our facility and respectfully requests that each patient and or family member follow the guidelines listed below:

No visitors under Age 16.

Visitors entering Memorial Hospital through one of its three (3) main entrances i.e., Lobby, Emergency Room, and
             the east entrance between the Clinic and Hospital will be screened. Any guests/visitor that fails the screening
             test will not be allowed into the facility, and will be directed regarding further medical steps concerning
             their health.

Visitors to Memorial Hospital’s maternity center, after screening, will be limited to spouse/partner of the mother,
             and grandparents of the newborn.

Due to the health risks to our patients, there will be NO visitors to our Bridges Unit.

Only one visitor at a time will be allowed in both the Hospital rooms and Emergency Room areas.

We recommend all visitors and patients keep a six (6) foot distance from each other in areas such as the
             break room and dining areas.  

These precautionary measures will be implemented effective immediately until further notice. The Hospital Administration appreciates your cooperation and understanding in this very difficult time for our Nation.
